After graduating from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, marketing and finance studies, Dejan Turk joined McDonald's Slovenia in 1995, where he began his career as a restaurant manager and left the company as executive director of a restaurant chain in Slovenia and Croatia.
Dejan joined A1 Telekom Austria Group in August 2004, when he became Marketing and Sales Manager at Si.mobil in Slovenia. Two years later, he was appointed a member of the Management Board responsible for market operations, and from March 2007 to February 2014, he was the President of the Management Board of Si.mobil. He joined Vip mobile in 2014 as CEO, and a year later took over the position of director / CEO / CMO of the new organizational unit "Serbia and Slovenia" within the A1 Telekom Austria Group. Dejan has been the General Manager / CEO of Vip mobile and Si.mobil (now A1 Slovenia) since July 1, 2015.
He is a member of the Board of the Serbian Association of Managers and has won many prestigious awards for six years of successful management of Si.mobil (Excel 2009, Manager of the Year 2009, Recognition for the greatest achievements in business and economy of Slovenia in 2013). Since 2015, he has been the President of the Forum for Responsible Business, a network of leading companies in Serbia dedicated to the development of socially responsible business. He is also the winner of the prestigious award of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) for Business Ambassador Leader of Change 2016. He is Vice President of the Board of Foreign Investors (FIC), Member of the Board of NLB Bank and Vice President of NALED e-Government Alliance since 2019.
At the end of 2018, the Serbian Association of Managers awarded him the prestigious "Manager of the Year" award.
